The primacy of the imagination as practiced and preached by Blake, Coleridge, Wordsworth, Shelley, Keats and Byron.

MAJOR READINGS

Poetry and some prose by the authors mentioned in course description.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS

Several short critical papers. Final examination.

Prerequisite: ENGL201 or equivalent preparation.
