Dance Teaching Practicum
DANC 447 SP
Required Sequence: DANC341 & DANC447
This course taken either in the fall or the spring is the required practicum course associated with Dance Teaching Workshop (DANC341). It involves preparing and teaching weekly dance classes for Wesleyan students or
students in area schools. Working
with another member of the course as a team, each student will also accompany his/her partner's weekly dance class as that class's musician.

This practicum course must be taken simultaneously with or following Dance Teaching Workshop (DANC341). It is an ampersand course with DANC341.
Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed
Drop/Add form to the Registrar's
Office.
