This course offers continued practice speaking, reading and writing. Reading selections will be drawn from a variety of texts. Due emphasis will be laid on discussions and essay writing in Chinese.

2. Short Chinese TV Plays
3. Short Stories

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS

Regular reading tests, translation excercises, skit-performing and essay writing. There will be a final examination.

Students who have not taken CHIN217 but who believe that they are prepared for this course should consult the instructor.

Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the Registrar's Office.
