Patterns of Organic Reactions

Patterns of Organic Reactions is a workshop that covers, via problem-solving, nucleophile-electrophile, radical, and pericyclic chemistry in the context of an interesting array of molecules.

MAJOR READINGS

A work manual is provided. No reading or study outside the prescribed schedule of the workshop is called for.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS

Grading (Pass/Fail) is based on completion of problem assignments.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS

The course is held once a week over the entire semester.
