Mammalian Development
BIOL 520 FA
This seminar course will begin with an overview of early mammalian embryogenesis and then focus on current topics in the field, including cell lineage-determining genes, transgenic mice, gene targeting to generate mutant
mice, disease models and stem
cells.
MAJOR READINGS

Class presentation plus paper or exam.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS
Permission to enroll in this course will be granted to those undergraduates who have completed BIOL205 and BIOL206. The course will be held once a week.
