Acting Technique and Scene Study
THEA 288 SP
This is an intensive scene-study class for advanced students of acting. Students will continue to practice elements of the Stanislavski system as they apply them to the scenes being explored. Students will be
critiqued and coached on work prepared for
each session.
MAJOR READINGS
List of plays, hand-outs.
EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
Assigned readings, research and short papers. Scenes and exercises in class. Rehearsals outside of class are mandatory. Field trips will be scheduled.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS
Admission by interview/audition. Grades will be based on attendance, preparation (thoroughness and professionalism), and participation.
