Elements of Acting: Acting for Film
THEA 145 FA
The study of standard theater acting techniques as applied to acting for the camera. The class is designed for film directors who will direct and coach each other in scenes and exercises.
MAJOR READINGS
The specific readings vary semester to semester depending on the wishes of the instructor.
EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
One or more monologues, two or three short scenes, several short essays, final project.
Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed
Drop/Add form to the Registrar's
Office.
