Basic Production Techniques
THEA 105 SP
An introduction to theatrical production practice. Practical experience in the departmental production season. This course is required of theater majors.
EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
Eighty hours of supervised crew time in addition to the expected attendance at all class meetings are required.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS
With exception of transfers, students planning to major in theater should take this course in their freshman or sophomore years. Admission to studio, performance, project and tutorial courses in theater is at the
discretion of the individual faculty
instructors, who take into account estimated talent, experience and the need to form balanced and effective working ensembles. Projects must be approved by the department.
Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed
Drop/Add form to the Registrar's
Office.
