Readings in 19th-Century Russian Fiction
RUSS 211 FA
This course should be taken concurrently with RUSS 205 (19th-Century Russian Novel). It gives students the opportunity to read excerpts from the classics of 19th- century Russian prose in the original. The course will
teach formalist and structuralist
methods of stylistic analysis of prose narrative.
