Contemporary Christian Thought

Contemporary as distinct from ages of modern and classical Christian thought deals with both in its project. The main part of this discussion course explores and examines select recent 20th century Christian theologies from around the world divided into liberationist, feminist, orthodox, liberal and evangelical currents. A range of beliefs in God, the world and humanity will be pursued on the basis of select complex theological texts. The second part of the course will focus on a few Christian thinkers in the fields of philosophy and/or history.
