Seminar in Visual Perception
PSYC 328 SP

How does the human visual system analyze stimuli and how do we perceive them? Contemporary theories and research of usual perception will be reviewed. The course will attempt to integrate the psycholophysical, physiological and cognitive aspects of vision. Students will be expected to lead discussions on journal articles, as well as to prepare demonstrations of phenomena in human visual perception.

MAJOR READINGS

Review chapters, journal articles

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS

Final research paper and weekly short reports on the assigned readings. Each student will be responsible for leading some discussions during the term.
