General Physics Laboratory I
PHYS 123 FA

This laboratory is designed to provide experience in physics through the observation and analysis of physical phenomena. Video cameras and computer analysis of captured video clips will be the primary observational tools.

To be taken concurrently with PHYS113; may be elected by students taking PHYS115. While this course is not required by the Physics Department, students planning to enter the health professions should be aware that a year of physics WITH LABORATORY is usually required for admission. Consult your major adviser if you are in doubt about similar requirements in your field. Each laboratory section is limited to 16. Students considering a Physics major are strongly advised to enroll in one of these sections.
