Philosophical Logic
PHIL 230 FA
This course will study the philosophical and conceptual foundations of deductive reasoning, developing into an exact theory of the fundamental principles of such reasoning. A subsidiary aim is to equip the student with
the necessary background for
reading contemporary philosophical texts.

Concurrent enrollment with PHIL200 will suffice as well as previous completion of PHIL200. Also, a mathematics course at the level of calculus suffices.
Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed
