Advanced Laboratory in Molecular Biology and Genetics
MB&B 294 SP
PREREQUISITES: MB&B208
covered will include the analysis of mutant yeast strains, cloning by complementation, linkage analysis, protein purification and recombinant DNA analysis. This course may be taken concurrently with MB&B208. It
provides a broad knowledge of laboratory
techniques valuable for independent research at the undergraduate level (MB&B401 and 402) and beyond.
EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
Midterm, final, and laboratory write-ups.
