Directed Reading Tutorial

Supervised reading of a Greek text or texts (e.g., a medium-length dialogue of Plato, a single play), selected in consultation with the director of the tutorial.

MAJOR READINGS

To be chosen with director of tutorial.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS

Translation exam(s).

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS

Prerequisite: 2 years of college Greek or the equivalent. No more than 1 credit may be counted towards the major. Permission of the instructor is required. Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the Registrar's Office.
