The Late20th-Century Novel
ENGL 209 SP
This course examines some of the most important novels published in the last 25 years.
MAJOR READINGS
Ten or eleven novels, half of which were originally written in English, half of which we will read in translation.
EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
Ten short papers and a final essay exam.
Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed
Drop/Add form to the Registrar's
Office.
