International Finance
ECON 255 SP

Topics covered in this study of open-economy macroeconomics include exchange-rate determination, balance of trade, balance of payments, international capital movement, international borrowing, international repercussions of macroeconomics policy, and international monetary arrangements. Current events concerned with international finance will also be discussed.

Problem sets and a term paper; one mid-term exam, and a final exam as scheduled by the Registrar.

Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the Registrar's Office.
