Labor Markets and Employment Relationships
ECON 232 FA
In this course, markets for labor power are studied from the inside out. After a brief introduction and re-orientation to the process of microeconomic analysis, attention is focused on the special features of employment
relationships and the implications
of such features for labor market outcomes. Topics include wage differentials and discrimination, involuntary unemployment, unions, the economic roles of education and training, and the internal structure of firms.
