Organometallic Chemistry

This course examines the synthesis, bonding properties, and catalytic and stoichiometric reactions of transition metal organometallics (species with metal-carbon or metal-hydrogen bonds).
MAJOR READINGS
Crabtree, THE ORGANOMETALLIC CHEMISTRY OF THE TRANSITION METALS, heavily supplemented with readings from the current literature.
EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
Two hour exams, oral presentation and final exam.
