General Chemistry Laboratory
CHEM 257 FA

Normally taken along with CHEM251, this course provides laboratory work in quantitative chemical procedures and introductory organic laboratory practices. This course is required by most medical, dental and veterinary schools and is a prerequisite for CHEM258.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS

Approximately ten laboratories are performed with the majority of the grade based on graded laboratory reports. In addition there are two one-hour quizzes and one practical examination.
