Advanced Practice: Painting, Drawing, and/or Collage
ARST 458 SP
This course combines advanced independent studio work with meetings for individual or group critiques. Emphasis is placed on achieving productivity and on clarifying individual interests and goals. Most students in this
course are seniors preparing for
senior exhibitions. Continued attention is paid to technical, formal and conceptual issues.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
Portfolio reviews throughout semester plus final review
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS
Permission of Instructor course. Selection will be by portfolio review and interview. Location and time will be posted outside the painting studio (Art Studio South 103). Students selected by this review process will
be expected to enroll during
Round I of preregistration. Permission of the Instructor forms required. Students who preregister during the In-semester phase of preregistration should contact the Secretary of the Art Department for details.
Unless preregistered students attend the
first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the Registrar's Office.
