Drawing I
ARST 131 SP

This introduction to drawing gives special attention to the articulation of line, shape, volume, light, gesture and composition. A variety of media and subjects will be used, including the live model. This course is suitable for both beginners and students with some experience. Individual progress is an important factor in grading. The graded option is recommended for potential art majors.

Course Fee: $45. To be used in support of model salaries and for drawing paper. For Section 02 (Mr. D. Schorr) ALL interested students merely need come to the first class, Wednesday Evening January 24th, promptly at 7:30 p.m.--at Art Workshops 107--where all selections will be made. There is no need to call the instructor before that date about admission. THERE IS NO PRE-REGISTRATION, NO WAITING LIST. All students will be enrolled in this section only through the Drop/Add process.
NOTE: Students will still have to submit a completed Drop/Add form to the Registrar's Office.
