Archaeology is one of the disciplines through which we can understand the past. This course will explore the ways in which archaeologists use material culture and other physical remains, and, in some cases, documentary materials, to "reconstruct" different times and places of human history.
Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the Registrar's Office.
